HAIRCUTS and Curl cuts

*This is the starting price. The final haircut price is calculated based on time required and products used (e.g. detangling). This service includes basic hairdrying without styling.

Price is fixed for children up to 7 years of age.
Children above the age of 7 are charged the regular price.

A comprehensive, one-on-one consultation focused on understanding your hair and scalp needs. This service includes an in-depth assessment of your scalp and hair health, discussion of your personal style and lifestyle, review of your current haircare routine, and professional product recommendations. Together, we’ll create a personalised plan to help you achieve healthy and long-lasting results that are easy to maintain.
*The price for scalp treatment is fixed. The type and extent of treatment may vary depending on the condition of the scalp. In some cases, I may determine that performing the service is not appropriate, and in such cases, the treatment may be declined to ensure the safety and health of the scalp.

JUMIKO HAIR STYLIST Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Jumiko Hair Stylist, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

APPOINTMENTS AND BOOKINGS

All appointments are subject to availability. Booking an appointment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Accurate contact details must be provided at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us as early as possible.

Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the booked service.
Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment time, or failure to attend (no-shows), will be charged 100% of the booked service.

Late cancellations and no-shows result in lost time and costs that cannot be recovered. Charges will be applied to the payment method on file where applicable.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may result in reduced service time or rescheduling, and full service charges may still apply.

AGE REQUIREMENTS AND CONSENT

Clients aged 18 and over may receive chemical services, including but not limited to colouring, bleaching, perming, straightening, or other chemical treatments.
Clients aged 16–17 may receive chemical services only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the consultation appointment. Services will be performed only after a signed Jumiko Hair Stylist Consent Form from the parent or guardian, which includes a detailed description of the agreed service provided by Jumiko Hair Stylist. No chemical services will be performed on clients under 16 years of age.
Valid identification may be requested to verify age.

CONSULTATIONS AND RESULTS

Consultations are provided to assess hair condition, suitability, and desired outcomes. While every effort is made to achieve the requested result, outcomes may vary due to hair history, condition, and previous treatments. By proceeding with a service, you acknowledge and accept these variables.

HAIR HISTORY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Clients must disclose complete and accurate hair history, including previous chemical treatments, box dyes, henna, medications, or scalp conditions. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect results, and Jumiko Hair Stylist will not be held responsible for outcomes resulting from undisclosed information.

PAYMENT AND FEES

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. Prices may vary based on hair length, thickness, and condition. Additional charges will be discussed where possible prior to commencing service.
For services with a booking of two hours or more, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the service.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or scalp issues prior to your appointment. Jumiko Hairstylist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if it is deemed unsafe.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Jumiko Hair Stylist reserves the right to refuse service to any client due to late arrival, inappropriate behaviour, safety concerns, failure to comply with policies, or if the requested service is not suitable.

LIABILITY

Jumiko Hair Stylist is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon. All services are provided with professional care and skill.
